The experts reckon the smell that tipped off the authorities was a combination of the high heat and humidity down in those tunnels, coupled with an awful lot of green plants. Talk about a hidden ecosystem! Right now, nobody’s been arrested, and the investigation is still ongoing. You just wonder who was tending that subterranean farm.
