Red-Eyed Demon or Just a Bad Day at the Wheel?

Well now, howdy folks, hope you’re having a fine day wherever you are. Howe Weird here, with a tale from North Carolina that’ll make you wonder what exactly goes bump in the night on those lonely back roads.

This past Tuesday evening, things took a fiery turn when a truck veered off course and plowed right into somebody’s home. Now, that’s a bad enough situation, but the good news, and a real blessing, is that no one was home at the time. The house caught fire, yes, but thankfully, the residents were spared any harm. The driver, he walked away with just some minor scrapes, which, all things considered, is pretty fortunate.

But here’s where the story gets a bit…weird. When the authorities started asking questions, the driver didn’t blame slick roads or a deer. Nope. He told them he swerved to avoid a “demon in the road,” described as a black figure with bright red eyes. Now, I’ve heard some excuses in my time, but that one takes the cake! The police, bless their hearts, searched high and low, but didn’t find hide nor hair of any red-eyed road demon, or even another vehicle. They’re still looking into it, but it seems they’re leaning towards the idea that something other than a supernatural entity might have been clouding the driver’s judgment.

You know, for those dark nights on the road, maybe a good set of bright headlights or even a reliable dashcam can make all the difference, though I doubt it’d pick up a demon. You can find all sorts of useful little gadgets and gizmos for your vehicle or home over on Temu, just to be on the safe side. Keeps your mind a bit easier, knowing you’ve got a little extra help out there.

Whatever the truth may be, it certainly makes for a heck of a story. Stay safe out there, folks, and keep those eyes on the road!
