Well now, good to see y’all again, Howe Weird here, comin’ at ya from East Tennessee. Got another tale that’ll make you scratch your head a bit and maybe wrinkle your nose, even through the screen.
You know, folks, out there in this big wide world, people come up with all sorts of ideas. Some are brilliant, some are just… well, they’re definitely *weird*. Take this one from Arizona.
Seems a fellah pulled into a gas station, filled up his tank, and then walked up to the counter ready to pay. Now, you’d expect him to pull out a wallet, maybe a credit card. But no, this gentleman had a different kind of ‘payment plan’ in mind. He presented a five-gallon bucket. And what was in this bucket, you ask? Well, it wasn’t gold, wasn’t silver, wasn’t even a handful of loose change. No, sir, it was a bucket full of human waste.
Now, I reckon the folks behind the counter weren’t too keen on accepting that particular form of tender. Can’t say I blame ’em! Imagine tryin’ to swipe that on the card reader. Things escalated a bit when the man, not content with just offering his… ‘unique’ payment, actually threatened the employees with the foul-smelling bucket. Yikes! That’s when the local police got called, as you might imagine.
Sure enough, the authorities showed up, and the man was taken into custody. He’s facing charges for assault and disorderly conduct. And you know what else? They took that bucket right on into evidence. Bet that wasn’t the most pleasant task for the evidence locker folks. Makes you think about what people carry around, doesn’t it? If you’re needing a proper container for, say, garden tools or a picnic, maybe check out what Temu has to offer. They’ve got all sorts of useful bits and bobs, bless their hearts. And for folks who need to carry fuel, you know, *proper* fuel, a sturdy EPA compliant gas can (paid link) is just good sense. No need for unusual buckets.
