Well now, good afternoon folks, pull up a chair if you please. Howe Weird here, comin’ at ya with a tale that’ll make you wonder just what folks are thinkin’ sometimes. You know, you hear about folks sending all sorts of things through the mail. Letters, packages, even the occasional fruitcake around the holidays. But I reckon you don’t often hear about a furry, 18-pound passenger makin’ the journey! Turns out, up in New York, a gentleman was gettin’ ready to send a box of old DVDs off to a friend. Now, I don’t know about you, but when I’m boxing things up, I try to make sure everything’s just so. Maybe a few storage bins from Temu would help keep your things organized before they go into the mail stream? Might save you a heap of trouble. Well, this fellow, he somehow managed to include his magnificent feline, a sizable ginger cat named Cupcake, right there amongst the discs! Can you imagine the friend’s surprise? Openin’ up a box of movies, probably expectin’ a good night in, and instead, they hear a distinct ‘meow’ comin’ from inside. Turns out, Cupcake had traveled all the way from Long Island to Buffalo, New York – that’s a haul of over 400 miles! Now, thankfully, Cupcake was found safe and sound, probably a little bewildered by her unexpected cross-state adventure. The folks at the post office confirmed the whole shebang, remindin’ everyone, quite rightly, that animals are just not meant for postal delivery. I’d say that’s one cat who definitely used up a few of her nine lives on that trip! Goes to show you, always double-check your packages before you seal ’em up, especially if you’ve got curious critters about. Check out cat on Amazon (paid link)
