Well, howdy neighbors! Howe Weird here, ready to spin you a yarn that’ll have you thinkin’ twice before your next bathroom break.
Now, I’ve heard of all sorts of surprises in life, but finding a slithery friend in your porcelain throne? That just takes the cake, doesn’t it? Up in St. Louis, Missouri, a couple got themselves an unforgettable Tuesday morning when they lifted their toilet lid. And what did they find coiled up in the bowl? None other than a bona fide boa constrictor, roughly four feet long! Talk about a wake-up call that’ll make your heart do a jig.
You can imagine their surprise, and I reckon a good holler or two might’ve echoed through the house. Naturally, they didn’t try to handle this unexpected guest themselves. They did the smart thing and called emergency services right away. Before you could say “snake in the drain,” animal control officers were on the scene, equipped with their specialized tools. They managed to safely remove the sizable snake from the plumbing, likely a task that required a steady hand and maybe a strong stomach!
The boa constrictor is now safe at a local animal shelter, where they’re hopin’ to reunite it with its rightful owner. Chances are, this slithery fellow was someone’s exotic pet that managed to make a daring escape. It just goes to show you, folks, that if you’re keeping exotic pets, a secure enclosure isn’t just a good idea, it’s an absolute necessity! And if you ever come across unexpected wildlife, especially a creature that could give you a squeeze, always call the professionals.
While you might not find a snake trap on Temu, if you’re looking for unique home decor, pet-related items to keep your critters secure, or just about anything to spruce up your bathroom, you might find some interesting gadgets there. Just don’t let ’em slither away!
It’s a wild world out there, even in our own homes. Y’all stay weird, and remember to always check before you sit!
